It's never good when couples break up but tennis stars Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov have apparently called it quits after being together for more than two years.
Sharapova, the current women's world number two made it all the way to the Wimbledon semis this year but ended up losing to eventual champion Serena Williams as opposed to Dimitrov who got crushed by Richard Gasquet in the gentlemens' third round.
Dimitrov was quoted by tenniskafe.com as saying "Our paths parted. We lived through wonderful moments together. I wish her much happiness and success in life and tennis."
Sharapova meanwhile reportedly went to Montenegro a few days after Wimbledon.
