Federer's fitness in question prior to Brisbane start

Rumours are swirling that Switzerland's Roger Federer may not be at a hundred percent even before the start of his 2016 tennis season at the Brisbane International.

Though nothing is confirmed, Federer cut short his practice session after just 30 minutes on the court at the Queensland Tennis Centre and was seen favouring his right arm.

The 34-year-old was supposed to play his first match of the season on Wednesday against German qualifier Tobias Kamke but Federer requested for a Thursday start instead.
